With a strong background of experience in technology and management consulting firms (EY, Deloitte, IBM, Accenture among others), Mauricio Castro is an IT and Digital Transformation Executive with a focus on value driven offerings, able to help customers surpass business outcomes and influence their business behavior through different solutions that range from business strategy to technology capabilities.

His experience covers hundreds of technological programs in leading companies in Brazil and several international projects. Mauricio is recognized as a digital influencer in discussions associated with digital transformation, considering topics such as Digital Strategy, Artificial Intelligence, Digital Platforms, Robotic Process Automation (RPA), Big Data, Cloud Computing, API economy, Blockchain among others.

With a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from UFRJ (Federal University of Rio de Janeiro), a postgraduate degree in Industrial Production and Economic Engineering from COPPEAD-UFRJ and an MBA in Marketing and Finance from FGV (Fundação Getulio Vargas), Mauricio has participated in courses at leading global universities: Yale School of Management (strategic leadership) and MIT Management Sloan School (Artificial Intelligence: Implications for Business Strategy), in addition to PMI/PMP, IBM Senior Management Professional and TrendsInnovation Board certifications. Mauricio speaks three languages (Portuguese: Native; English: Fluent, Spanish: Advanced).

Mauricio actively participates in the TrendsInnovation Board Association (Innovation and Trends/Future Committees), and in the International Association of Artificial Intelligence (Innovation and International Committees), in addition to being a member of the Editorial Board of Intelligent Automation magazine and is still a recurring speaker at main technology and business events such as CIAB, FUTURECOM, RPA Congress, EBDI among many others.
